First, this location was perfect- a half a block to the beach access, and a block the other way to the Washington Mall. Easy walking to everything in town. The unit has two private parking spaces right next to the building, and an outside faucet and showerhead to rinse sand. This second-floor apartment is large, immaculate, and well-equipped. We enjoyed meeting the owner, who takes great care of the property and gave us some good tips for our first visit to Cape May. The only neighbor is the quiet downstairs clothing shop. In the evenings, local restaurants have live music, so it's not perfectly quiet, but we really enjoyed that. Plus, you can't hear it once you go back to the bedrooms and close doors. The ONLY downside is the lack of an outdoor space (patio/porch), due to the nature of the building. I did count all SIXTEEN windows in the apartment, furnished with nice shutters; on cooler evenings we could turn off the A/C and open windows and feel a little more "outside." Remember to bring your own towels and sheets. If you have mobility issues, it might not be a good fit; there is a long set of steep stairs when you go in the door. We left our shoes/jackets at the bottom (on pretty mosaic tile and convenient hooks), and were glad to get the bit of exercise coming and going
